Set 68 years after the conclusion of the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, the spin-off Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo) takes us to the year 2086. It’s a world where classic curses collide with "extraterrestrial violence."
Are you keeping up with the latest chapters? The heroes we once knew have become legends, and their grandchildren are now standing on the front lines. With the arrival of the Simurian aliens, the power creep has officially left Earth’s atmosphere and reached a cosmic scale.
The confirmation of Yuji Itadori’s survival in the latest chapter absolutely blew our minds. To settle the heated debates happening across the fandom, I’ve put together a Top 10 Power Ranking based on the latest info up to Chapter 13. We're looking at pure logic, feats, and the sheer lethality of these new-age sorcerers.
Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo): Top 10 Power Rankings
No. 10: Yakumaru
Clutching the 10th spot is the radical sorcerer, Yakumaru. He uses a shotgun-style Cursed Tool on his right arm to fire cursed energy rounds via Construction Technique. It’s a style that reminds us of Mai Zenin, but his rapid-fire capability and destructive output are truly Grade 1 level.
The reason he’s here instead of Shinken (No. 9) is his focus on pure lethality. Yakumaru’s cold-blooded decision to gun down the Simurian powerhouse, Kross, shows a level of "killer instinct" essential for high-level combat. However, he fell flat against Dabra. Watching his right arm and Cursed Tool vanish before he could even react showed the massive gap between Grade 1 sorcerers and the "monsters" at the top. He simply lacks the hax to deal with conceptual attacks or sub-light speed combat.
No. 9: Shinken Okkotsu
At 9, we have the ultimate "thoroughbred," Shinken Okkotsu—the descendant of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin. He possesses Maki’s otherworldly physical stats but fights as a hybrid warrior, using the Cursed Tool "Honoyagi" to perform New Shadow Style techniques.
His standout feature is "Simple Domain: Madara," an auto-counter technique. Unlike Yakumaru, Shinken excels in survivability and composure. His ability to parry lethal blows while attempting to reason with a rampaging Maru shows a "strength" that goes beyond raw destruction. While he’s a beast in close quarters, he currently lacks Yuta’s massive CE reserves or his sister Uka’s "trump card." Against No. 8’s conceptual interference, he’s still mostly on the defensive.
No. 8: Kross
Kross, a warrior of the Simurian Lumel race, takes the 8th spot. As Maru’s twin brother, he holds the "Chaos and Harmony" technique. Even compared to Shinken, Kross edges out due to the sheer durability of his Simurian physiology and his experience surviving tribal warfare.
When Yakumaru shot him, Kross survived only because of his instantaneous cursed energy reinforcement. According to Oski, "If he actually intended to fight, a trash attack like that wouldn't have even touched him." This confirms Kross's potential far exceeds human Grade 1 sorcerers. His current unconscious state prevents him from ranking higher, especially since he hasn't shown an answer to No. 7’s Mahoraga.
No. 7: Maru (Maruru Val Vul Yelvril)
The fan-favorite Simurian, Maru, lands at No. 7. Maru’s technique, "Stirring of Logic," is basically a cheat code. He can boil or freeze water instantly or warp the trajectory of a thrown stone. His ability to rewrite physical laws on the fly puts him above Kross.
As seen in the fight with Shinken, his cursed energy output during emotional outbursts is terrifying. He can literally terraform a battlefield into his own physical playground. The only reason he isn't higher is his mental immaturity and lack of a refined "Domain Expansion" to counter the seasoned techniques of the veterans above him.
No. 6: Masaki Takeda
No. 6 is the eerie curse-user Masaki Takeda, an old man who repeats the first grade of elementary school under different names. Despite suffering from dementia, his Grade 1 level is intact, but the real kicker is his past: he once fought Yuji Itadori and survived.
That feat alone proves his "technique" can overcome the "explosive power" of someone like Maru. While Takeda himself admitted he would lose to Maru now, we have to consider his status if his body remembers his prime techniques. Knowing the absolute pinnacle of power (Yuji) gives him a cold, realistic grasp of his own limits. However, his physical decline due to age keeps him below the active "monsters" like Ui Ui.
No. 5: Ui Ui
The current head of the New Shadow Style and the only one still giving off "active pro" vibes from the original series. The boy who was once in Mei Mei's shadow has become a black-robed monster who doesn't even flinch in front of Dabra.
His mastery of teleportation is god-tier now. Takeda’s "veteran skills" mean nothing when Ui Ui can flip the script of a battle by simply ignoring distance and space. His "eye" for combat allowed him to instantly gauge the danger of Dabra’s light-speed attacks. He isn't just a taxi anymore; he’s a battlefield controller. However, compared to Uka, he lacks a definitive "finisher" to deal with something like an adapted Mahoraga.
No. 4: Uka Okkotsu
The girl at the center of the story, Uka Okkotsu. Even before manifesting her Shikigami, her potential is insane. Despite a malignant brain tumor, her Cursed Technique-infused martial art "Inu-Agito" (Dog Jaw Claw) packs enough speed and power to corner even Ui Ui.
She likely inherited Yuta’s "Copy" ability, making her moveset an unknown variable. The reason she ranks above Ui Ui is her "resolve for death." With only six months to live, the "Binding Vow" she places on herself is far stronger than anything a sorcerer in peace-time could produce. Her mental fortitude is already beyond Grade 1.
No. 3: Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga (Uka Manifestation)
The ultimate trump card of the Jujutsu world returns. In this era, the Okkotsu blood within Uka has brought Mahoraga back to the stage. It’s the avatar of "Adaptation to all phenomena."
In Chapter 15, it adapted to Dabra’s light-blasts, regenerating and counter-attacking even after its upper body was erased. It’s pure despair. Ui Ui stated that if you encounter this thing, "your only option is to run." It ranks 3rd only because Dabra managed to impale it before it could fully adapt. In a completed state, it is theoretically unbeatable.
No. 2: Dabra Karaba
Representing the Simurians, Dabra Karaba is a walking natural disaster. His technique, which manipulates "Mass-infused Malice" and "Light," is on par with Sukuna’s "Fuga" (Divine Flame)—or perhaps even faster.
He moves at sub-light speeds and possesses enough CE resistance to ignore Usami’s Cursed Speech. While he struggled with Mahoraga’s adaptation, his decision to enter "sub-light combat" regardless of his own body's collapse showed the aura of a true King. The only reason he isn't No. 1 is because the Japanese government only has one "deterrent" listed against him: Yuji Itadori.
No. 1: Yuji Itadori
The OG protagonist and the biggest mystery of Modulo. He is 84 years old and has been revealed to be "immortal." What does that mean? It means he has had 68 years to refine Sukuna’s "Shrine" and "Blood Manipulation" while maintaining his peak physical form.
Imagine the "potential equal to Sukuna" that Uraume recognized, blossomed over nearly seven decades of training... Honestly, it’s hard to imagine anyone in the current cast beating him head-on. If Dabra is the avatar of "Talent and Output," Yuji is the avatar of "Talent, Output, and Infinite Refinement." Even Takeda fled because his instincts couldn't handle Yuji's "menace-free pressure." Yuji is, without a doubt, the strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen ≡.
Summary: The Future of the Strongest Generation
What did you think of the Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo) Top 10? The power balance is thrilling, with the legendary Yuji Itadori holding the throne while being chased by alien kings and desperate heirs like Shinken and Uka.
With Dabra now pushing himself into sub-light speeds to fight Mahoraga, the rankings could shift at any moment. How will Yuji eventually return to the fray? And how will his immortality affect the ending? I personally suspect a "reconciliation" between the loneliness of Yuji and Dabra might be the key.
Drop your own rankings and theories about Yuji's immortality in the comments! Let's witness the conclusion of this heated saga together!
